Photographer & Framing
Alexandra Tremaine has two studios at The Knowlton. One is for her artwork; contemporary photography; the other is for her professional framing business, The Art Switch.
Alexandra Tremaine Art (www.alexandratremaine.com) offers unique limited-edition pieces. The two bodies of work, at present, are diabolically different from one another. One consists of neon acrylic box framed VW Bug Diptychs while the other is a more abstract and natural offering, depicting macro photographs of ice.
The professional framing studio offers a variety of wood, metal and acrylic frames and framing styles to suit your needs. To learn more about the offerings visit www.theartswitch.com. Pickup and delivery is available for Fairfield County.
Alexandra graduated from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA in 2008 with a BA in Professional Photography with an emphasis in Advertising. Since graduating, she has had her own photography business, Tremaine Photography, which focuses primarily on the retail market (weddings, portraits, small businesses). Throughout that time she has had some full-time positions which allowed her to gain skills in graphic design and layout; lighting design; manufacturing and leading teams. She resides in Fairfield with her teenage daughter and two dogs.
