Off I-95, and nothing like the last one.
Steel beams, garage doors open to the river and the sunset going gold behind your keynote. 200 secured parking spaces for the whole team, minutes from Westport and Fairfield.
A room that says something about your company.
Most corporate event space in Fairfield County photographs the same. The Knowlton gives your off-site, team-building day, meeting, training session, launch or holiday party a working waterfront mill: exposed timber, steel sash windows, brick and a view over the Pequonnock River. Clients and staff notice the difference before anyone says a word.
One address, the whole agenda.
Presentation, cocktail hour and dinner without a single car ride or a single generic backdrop.

The Presentation
Keynotes, panels and product reveals under steel beams and a 27-foot peak instead of drop ceilings, sharp on camera either way. Most commonly configured for 125 to 200 guests, scaling to 500 for a full-venue program.

The Cocktail Hour
Drinks and conversation while the room turns over for dinner. The Wilder Gallery typically runs 75 to 150 guests, the Armstrong Gallery closer to 25 to 75 for smaller meetings and trainings. Networking that does not feel like standing in a corridor.

The Dinner
Seated dinner, an open bar and a stage that carries the closing toast, for 50 to 500 guests.

Nobody remembers the last one. They remember this.
A few off-sites, launches and holiday parties.
What teams ask before they book.
What size groups can The Knowlton host for a corporate event?
The Knowlton hosts corporate events from 50 to 500 guests across the Boathouse and two galleries. Smaller off-sites and team gatherings fit comfortably in a single space, while product launches and larger parties can use the full waterfront campus.
Is The Knowlton set up for presentations and keynotes?
Yes. The Boathouse hosts keynotes, panels and product reveals under exposed steel beams and a 27-foot peak, and the room photographs well for livestreamed or recorded sessions.
Is WiFi available for corporate presentations?
Yes. The Knowlton has enterprise-grade WiFi built to support large-scale connectivity, which is well suited to corporate presentations and events with heavy guest usage.
Can we combine a presentation, cocktail hour and dinner in one visit?
Yes. Corporate events typically move from a presentation in the Boathouse to a cocktail hour on the deck or in the galleries, then back to the Boathouse for a seated dinner, all at one address with no car ride between acts.
Can we rent just a meeting room, without a full event?
Yes. The Armstrong Gallery works well as a standalone meeting room for a board meeting, a training day or a client presentation, and the larger spaces are available the same way when the group is bigger. You get the room, the included tables and chairs, and the same parking and access as a full event, without booking the whole venue.
Is there enough parking for our whole team?
Yes. The Knowlton offers 200 secured on-site parking spaces, minutes from Westport and Fairfield off I-95. Parking attendants are required once about 50 or more vehicles are expected, and events of 100 or more guests also require licensed security at one guard per 50 guests, booked in addition to the rental.
Can we bring our own caterer for a corporate event?
Yes. Outside caterers are welcome, including kosher and specialty caterers, so a company can keep an existing catering relationship or dietary program in place.
Do you provide the bar and alcohol service?
Yes. The Knowlton holds the liquor license and supplies all the alcohol, which also means outside alcohol cannot be brought in. The bar is staffed at roughly one bartender per fifty guests, either by the venue team or by an approved caterer serving the venue’s alcohol. Last call is fifteen minutes before the bar closes, and for guest safety shots are not served.
Can the lighting and AV be customized to match our brand?
Yes. The Boathouse includes color-selectable ambient lighting, and the team works with Nicholson Events on larger-scale lighting, video, staging and monitor needs, so the room can be built around your brand.
How much does it cost to rent an event space for a corporate event?
Corporate pricing is customized to the date, the spaces used, headcount and what the event needs operationally, from a weekday off-site to a full-campus launch, so each company receives a tailored proposal. Weekday dates generally offer the most flexibility.
How far in advance should we book a corporate event?
Popular dates, especially fall weekends and December holiday-party dates, tend to book up first, so it helps to confirm a date as early as possible. That said, dates open up as other events shift, so it's worth asking even on a short timeline, and weekday events typically have the most flexibility.
Bring your team somewhere it will remember.
