Every studio has at least two tall windows, and some look out over the Pequonnock River. Fourteen-foot ceilings and exposed brick keep the daylight moving through the room.

What artists ask before they apply.

How big are the studios, and how tall are the ceilings?

Studios run from 250 to 650 square feet with 14-foot ceilings. Every studio has at least two tall windows, and some look out over the Pequonnock River.

What's included in the rent?

Each studio has its own heat and air conditioning, and rent includes all utilities, including basic WiFi.

Is there parking, and what's the building access like?

Yes, parking is free on the secure grounds. The Armstrong Manufacturing Building is 3 stories, including the ground floor, and there is no elevator, so factor stairs into your plans if your studio is not on the ground floor.

Does The Knowlton help artists show their work?

Yes. The Knowlton actively promotes its artists with showcases and gallery opportunities, and you will be working alongside a resident community of artists throughout the building.
